A Classy Botanical Wedding at Gorgeous Malibu Vineyards

On a bright summer day in August, Michelle and Dennis tied the knot in front of their closest loved ones in a stunning ceremony overlooking rolling Southern California hills at the Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyards. It was a perfect and picturesque evening that illuminated the gorgeous couple against the most vivid sunset, making for jaw-dropping photos -- and highlighting Michelle's curve-hugging Jenny wedding dress from our Enzoani collection. Read on to find out how Michelle almost gave up on finding the perfect dress, how she and Dennis went from college sweethearts to newlyweds, and her best pieces of advice for the big day...

THE DRESS

"I went to 7 dress stores and was giving up hope. I didn't feel amazing in any of the dresses I tried on, and thought maybe my body type just didn't look good in a wedding dress and that I should just settle. At this point, I was able to list out things I'd like and not like to have on my dress, and it was a matter of figuring out if this mythical dress existed."

"I walked into Le Marriage Couture and handed the lady my list, and she brought out the Enzoani Jenny. It looks incredible. The detail on the lace, and the multiple layers underneath (my alteration lady said she has never worked with a dress with this many layers) made it so unique and elegant. I also loved the scalloped lace sweetheart neckline and the built-in corset which made it extra flattering. It was beautiful, and it made me feel beautiful."

THE LOVE STORY

"I met my now-husband in college at USC in Los Angeles. We became friends freshman year through mutual friends, and we started dating Sophomore year. Eight years later, we got engaged! Some say college is a place to really grow and find yourself. I feel so fortunate that we have been able to grow and find ourselves independently in the world as well as together as a team."

THE WEDDING DAY

"Our wedding of 100 guests consisted of our immediate family and friends at a private venue. It was an incredible feeling looking around and seeing familiar faces all around us, no matter where we looked. We were truly surrounded by so much love, it was definitely unforgettable."

MY ADVICE...

"The Dress: Dresses look so different on models and in pictures. There were pictures I saw of dresses I thought were perfect that did not fit me at all, and I wouldn't have thought I'd fit the Jenny just by looking at the model's photograph -- boy, was I wrong! Keep an open mind, and don't give up!

Read your contracts carefully, and don't get an 'all inclusive' wedding package. You should have the freedom and flexibility on what you want on your big day."
