Behind the Scenes: Runway Makeup & Hair

The annual Enzoani Fashion Event has a specific theme that describes the collection and the way we want brides to see us. This year, the theme is multi-facted illusion -think diamonds and mirror mazes. It comes to mean that elegance be taken in different forms but can still provide that "wow" effect. This year, we are partnering up with Jeannie Jeffries for Shannon Davidson Productions as the lead hair and makeup team with the help of wedding beauty specialists BreLuxe Beauty to complete the runway look. They came to the Enzoani US office to provide a test forthree different looks to see which fits the theme best. Below is the final look which was tested on the US Marketing Manager Cristina Szewczyk, a former model!

HAIR |

While we are looking for the perfect hair and makeup combo that fit our theme, current trends play a huge part in deciding what will work best. This year, tousled buns are all the rage which can be seen on the hottest celebrities below. Jessica Alba, Emma Stone, and Jennifer Lawrence are constantly wearing the latest and greatest so it is wise to follow their trends to stay on top of the beauty world. 

MAKEUP |

For the makeup portion,  it took a while to complete the look because you have to remember that each model has a difference face with different edges, shadows, and look. Therefore, it has to be a universal application that will look great, regardless of the face shape, which is not an easy feat.

Overall, Enzoani went with a clean, fresh faced, youthful look and added fake eyelashes for subtle drama to still give a couture look. A soft rosy pink was used for the lips to represent traditional feminine beauty to pull the look together.
