#EnzoaniRealBride: Yong + Dreger

A Look at Chinese Wedding Traditions in Today's World

Celebrating a lavish modern day wedding is one thing, but incorporating it with your own traditional culture is another. To integrate two cultures on a special day like a wedding day is a beautiful moment shared between two people as they come together as one.

Yong and Dreger’s beautiful, multi-cultural wedding at Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club was an all-day event.

It began with a traditional Chinese bridal tea ceremony. In the Chinese culture, maintaining rituals and customs are vital for a successful and loving marriage. Yong, Enzoani real bride, started out her day wearing a traditional Chinese dress called “cheongsam.”

The official Chinese ritual that is equivalent to a wedding vow starts when the newlyweds kneel three times - to their ancestors, parents, then to each other. The bride then presents tea to the parents and relatives, in return for gifts, such as: jewelry or money wrapped in red envelope.

This marks the end of the Chinese ritual and transitions to Yong wearing the beautiful Casablanca from our Blue by Enzoani Collection.

The form-fitting dress is fit for a princess like Yong. The lace overlay over the white gown was styled with a classic up-do, with a stunning bouquet of white flowers.

Combining two cultures into a special day is pure magic. But to end the day in Enzoani will make the day more magical than it already is.

Many thanks to the beautiful couple, Yong and Dreger for embracing us with their love!
