On the 30th August 2014, Fiona and Michael married at her family's church, The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The couples wedding theme was Butterflies, which led Fiona to choosing the romantic BT13-16 gown from the Beautiful 2013 collection. 

''I knew from the start what I wanted; an ivory floor length gown with applique straps, lace bodice, sweetheart neckline and a mermaid skirt. Three bridal shops later and we had found the one! I couldn't believe my luck to have found almost everything I wanted in one dress. When we saw the little butterfly embellishment under the bust, my mother and I gasped at each other and we knew our search was over! The dress complemented my curves, the butterfly matched the theme of the wedding, and when I tried on the lace-trimmed chapel length veil, the look was complete. I had the dress tailored and altered to give me the sweetheart neckline I so desired, and the final result; my dream dress! I felt like a princess from start to finish! Thank you Enzoani!''

''Michael and I met in Autumn 2009, and our first date was a Russell Brand stand-up gig - it was hilarious! A few months later we celebrated New Year's Eve in Dublin and on my return home, I introduced Michael to my parents and we have been inseparable ever since! It was April 2013 when Michael proposed to me at The Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas, it was truly romantic! Sixteen months later, we have tied the knot and are now enjoying setting up home together.''

''My favourite memory of our wedding day was the moment when, hand in hand, Michael and I were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Gill, and we paraded through the ballroom being cheered and celebrated by all our nearest and dearest. It was a truly magical moment. At the end of the night the DJ called everyone up to the dance floor and played 'New York New York' by Sinatra and 'Viva Las Vegas' by Elvis to send us off on our honeymoon to New York, Las Vegas and Mexico; that was great fun!''
