Retailer Spotlight: Crusz

Crusz GmbH is located in Berlin, Germany and they are stored in a building of 700m2! Crusz is an authorized Enzoani dealer since 2013 and is now an Enzoani Elite Dealer! 

How did you get started in the bridal industry?

We started our business back in 2003 with evening dresses and all sorts of dresses for outstanding occasions. We sell the classical little black dress for business events up to the dramatic evening gown for red carpet events. Women come to us when they are searching for a special dress for a special occasion. At one point there was the question why Crusz does not sell the dress for the most special happening in the life of every woman: wedding gowns. Since we started our bridal section, it has been growing bigger and bigger. We met lots of interesting people and brands. We definitely do not want to miss out being part of the bridal industry any more. Sometimes it’s an exhausting industry but there are way more great experiences we made that are worth it.

What would you recommend a bride to do before shopping for that perfect gown?

Many women fall in love with a bridal gown that they saw on a website or in a magazine. It has to be exactly that certain dress that they want to have although it is a gown that neither fits the woman’s body shape nor the circumstances of her wedding location.

So to all brides out there: Do not search the internet and magazines for that one and only dress. Instead think about the style of your wedding that you want to go for. Will it be a vintage wedding in a cute barn or a glamourous party in the city? The most important question is how the bride wants to appeal on her wedding day. Which style does she want to choose? If the bride knows that, she is well prepared for finding her perfect gown.

Share with us a special moment that occurred with you and a bride.

Every time a bride finds the perfect gown and has that certain smile is a special moment for us! It sounds cheesy, but it is a gorgeous moment when a bride is turning in front of the mirrors with beady eyes and in a super confident way.

Spontaneously I remember that one bride. She was a straight business lady and had an exact idea of her gown. My team and I already knew that the gown style that the bride picked was not the right one for her, but of course we let her try on a couple of those dresses. None of the gowns fit her and the bride felt completely uncomfortable. That tough business lady had tears in her eyes telling us that she already went to other bridal stores not able to find a dress. To make a long story short, we calmed her down and showed her some dresses that we thought she would look great in. And yes, we found her perfect bridal gown. We finally got her to the point of having that special moment in front of the mirror. It was an awesome moment!

What is your favorite Enzoani gown and why?

Right now it is Jaime out of the 2015 collection. It has those two different layers. Satin underneath and that transparent top layer that is a phenomenal combination. It is that easily floating movement of both layers together that gives every bride a very special, glamorous look wearing Jaime.
