Styled Shoot: Italian Vogue-Inspired

UK Celebrity Photographer Stacey Clarke teamed up with UK Model Nia Marshalsay-Thomas for an Italian Vogue-inspired shoot in Wales. Having been working as a freelance photographer in the industry for three years, Stacey is a Swansea-based photographer with her own studio located in the city center. We recently caught up with Nia and Stacey after this beautiful shoot featuring Enzoani couture wedding dresses as well as Enzoani Black Label styles.

Nia: "The shoot was in Glangwyrney Court in Abergavenny. It has beautiful rooms and really suited the look that we wanted."

Stacey: "I try to deliver more of a fashion/editorial look in my wedding photography; many of my clients find the images timeless rather than the typical wedding photography."

Nia says, "The inspiration for the photo shoot was high fashion and not the normal bridal images you see. We wanted an Italian/Vogue theme. The dresses that we borrowed couldn't have been more appropriate!" Stacey concurs, "The inspiration for the latest shoot was to capture a high-end editorial fashion shoot that wouldn't look out of place in a bridal magazine showcasing the best of the wedding industry."

Nia explains, "We chose to shoot with Enzoani, as my own wedding dress was Emporia from the 2012 Blue by Enzoani collection and I still love the style! The quality on the dresses is better than any other, and there is always a good range of styles to chose from. The fishtail gowns fit like a glove! The fact that you are all so lovely to work with and patient with all my emails is a great help too!" Stacey notes that this is also not her first shoot with Nia: "Nia first contacted me to photograph her wedding back in 2013, but unfortunately due to prior commitments, I was unable to shoot her wedding. However, we arranged a photo shoot following the wedding where we got some great images of Nia in her Enzoani wedding dress. Many clients are booking post-wedding photo shoots as there is more time and less pressure on the bride."

Nia: "[Stacey] had some really great ideas. She has done photo shoots for so many wonderful, high-profile clients. The make-up artist was Sascha Martini. Sascha is also based in Swansea."
