2016 UK Launch Event

UK Premier Showcasing 2016 Enzoani, Blue by Enzoani and Beautiful Collections

On Monday 13th July, Enzoani UK premiered the 2016 Enzoani, Blue by Enzoani and Beautiful collections at the Banqueting Suite, Birmingham. In previous years the event has been held at our UK office in Swansea South Wales, however this year we made the decision to move the event to a more central location in the hope more people could attend. This decision paid off with over 150 guests in attendance consisting of stores, prospects and press.

The atmosphere was buzzing as guests arrived with excitement to see the new collections. With the UK launch following just over two weeks after the annual 2015 Fashion Event, many stores had seen sneak peeks of the new collections and were eager to see them in person. Guests were greeted with goodie bags and welcome drinks, and had the opportunity to meet the UK team. With the exception of the Sales and Marketing teams, many stores have not had the chance to meet face to face the office-based staff they speak to on a daily basis. Once everyone had arrived, it was show time! Guest were led through the grand doors to take their seats for the runway…

Before the show, the anticipation backstage was building. We had a team of people all primed and ready to put on a show to remember. We had a makeup artist, models, dressers, runners and a team of photographers ready to capture every moment.

Jeanette Stevens, UK Managing Director, and Mark Stevens, UK Sales Director, opened the show with a welcome speech and introductions, and we were off! As the music started, we all knew this was the moment all the planning had been building up to. Thankfully we had Enzoani Designer Kang Chun ‘KC’ Lin on hand to make sure every dress was positioned perfectly before it went on the runway.

All the dresses were met with a chorus of oohs and aahs as each collection floated down the runway. To close the show, KC took to the stage with the models for the finale walk and was met with grand applause.

After the runway show, guests were then ushered out of the room for lunch and of course some bubbly. While lunch was being served, the Enzoani team quickly transformed the room for stores to view the dresses up close. Stores then had the afternoon to view all the collections and make the difficult decision which dresses they would order for their own stores. The mood was electric!

As well as placing their 2016 orders, stores also had the opportunity to speak to KC and Nia Lloyd, UK seamstress, to give vital feedback on the collection and what they would like to see for 2017. Many stores took this chance to talk one on one with KC and Nia and of course get a picture, and provided some great feedback.
