#EnzoaniRealBride: Iris & Tim

Iris and Tim's vintage French, Moulin Rouge-inspired wedding on September 12th, 2014 was filled with cheers, laughter, and natural beauty - all the perfect ingredients for the sweetest celebration! A picturesque, woodsy setting at Restaurant BEAU (Chalet Brakkestein) in The Netherlands provided the perfect backdrop for the loveliest photos of Tim and Iris, who chose our Blue by Enzoani Gao gown for a customized, soft, and ultra-romantic look on the big day.

The Enzoani Team spoke with Iris about finding "The One" in Gao:

"I chose the dress GAO because this one looked the most like the image I had in my head. But a lot had to be changed! Due to the fantastic alterations that Donna from LaDonna made for me, the dress became unique!  There is no second one like this! And eventually it was the exact same dress I imagined in my head. I was a bit afraid that due to my fuller bosom a dress with a lower back was impossible, but thanks to Donna it became perfect." 

Tell us about your love story!

"[Tim and I] have been together for 10 years (9 when we got married), and we met each other through friends, during carnival. After a year of texting and messaging, we became close at a party he had asked me to go to with him. (I thought it was a real date, but later it appeared that all the men could only enter the party if they would bring a girl haha). We’ve been through a lot together, including a severe car accident for my husband. Partly because of this, we know each other very well. We are best buddies and have a lot of fun together. Meanwhile, we expect our first child this August!" 

What was your favorite part wedding day?

"What I thought was a very special moment, was during the ceremony. We both had written our own vows for each other. These were so special, emotional and beautiful! It was fantastic to tell each other our love declarations, among all our friends and family. So for us (and many others), it was a very emotional moment."
