#EnzoaniRealBride: Whitney Kay & Brian

On January 25th, 2014, Whitney Kay wed NASCAR race car driver Brian Scott in a rustic, vintage glam ceremony that can only be described as utterly beautiful, emotional, and family-oriented...so much so that a video of Brian's vows to Whitney and her young daughter, Brielle, went viral across the web!

Taking place on a snowy day in the mountains of McCall, Idaho, Whitney Kay and Brian's vintage-inspired wedding ceremony at the Shore Lodge and gorgeously warm reception at the Whitetail Golf Club was the perfect celebration of their union in front of their closest loved ones. For her wedding dress on the big day, Whitney chose to wear Emporia from the Blue by Enzoani collection - a figure-flattering, mermaid-style bridal gown featuring intricate lace embroidery and a flowing tulle skirt.

Whitney Kay customized her Emporia gown by adding a romantic sweetheart neckline as well as a trail of delicate buttons extending down the back to the skirt. For her seven bridesmaids, Whitney Kay selected blush-hued, one-shoulder gowns from Anjolique Bridal and Formal.

Whitney tells us: "I had so many different ideas on dresses and didn't know exactly what I wanted, until one day, I saw a picture on Pinterest and said, "THAT'S IT!" I was trying to convince myself to like more traditional dresses when I really wanted a fitted (and when I say fitted, I mean "I could barely sit" fitted, haha) dress! I wanted strapless with a sweetheart neckline and lace, but with a WOW train. I was lucky enough to find my dress last-minute and have my bridal boutique transform it into the perfect dress for me and our special day."

When we asked Whitney Kay about Brian and their love story, she gave us the sweetest answer - we're still swooning!

"Oh my husband, I could talk about him all day!  Brian and I met through mutual friends when I was going through a pretty rough separation. I had a little girl that had just turned one when I started seeing Brian. I wasn't just looking for a guy to casually date, but for a man who would fall in love with not only me, but my sweet little girl, and that he did. Our very first date was at what is now OUR house. Brian was redoing a house he had just purchased and brought me over to have hot chocolate. We had so much fun just sitting on the front porch and talking about life, and it's so special that now we play with our children and dogs on that same porch. It just took off from there. We fell in love and he became Brielle's father in what seemed overnight. His love for her is overwhelming, hence our wedding video that is trending worldwide at the moment. I am so thankful God had this in his beautiful plan. We now have a son, Joseph!" 

Whitney Kay: "Is it possible to have just one favorite wedding day memory?! If I had to choose, it would obviously be Brian's vows to Brielle. It is something not only I, but we all will cherish and be able to watch for years on end." 

To other brides, Whitney Kay says, "I know it's said often, but I really do believe the best advice is to just sit back at certain times during your wedding and reception and breathe it all in. It is such a fun and beautiful celebration of love, and you don't want to miss any part of it, so take deep breaths and have fun!"

Whitney Kay continues, "Since our wedding, we have had our little son and been very busy traveling since the Nascar season has started. We are always on the go, but wouldn't change it for the world.
