From Studio to Runway: 2016 Beautiful Bridal Collection

Behind the Scenes of the 2016 Beautiful Bridal Collection Shoot

Over the span of two days in January 2015, Enzoani's 2016 Beautiful Bridal collection photo shoot was completed...and it was one of the most successful shoots yet!

Staff members from the Enzoani US office in Southern California made an early morning drive up to The Mountain Mermaid set, a historic home located near Malibu and originally built as a country club in 1930. Since then, it has been transformed into everything from a gambling house run by the infamous gangster, Mickey Cohen, to a nightclub, Jewish boys' school, theatre, and concert hall. Now owned by a local artist who bought the property in 1989, The Mountain Mermaid has been carefully restored into a place of remarkable natural beauty, with antique furniture, ebbing fountains, an abundance of flowers and greenery, and stunning views of the Topanga State Park hills.

Under the creative direction and energy of photographer Nicole Nodland, the shoot was incredibly efficient. With so many different picturesque places on the property and in the house to shoot, Nicole was able to capture models Ali and Veronica in a variety of gorgeous locations, making the shoot anything but ordinary. Whether the models posed poolside, rested on antique benches, or stood on metal balconies, Nicole was able to make the most of the single location and create stunning results to showcase the latest Beautiful wedding dresses. Nicole's Director of Photography, Manos Ioannou, was also on hand to document video footage of the models for the 2016 Beautiful Bridal video ads. Enzoani staff members ensured that all the gowns looked their picture-perfect best for the photos, from steaming the bridal gowns, to cinching in the models using gown clips, to meticulously fluffing up the trains before each shot.

With so many crew members working together to create photographic magic, the shoot ran like a well-oiled machine, and the production was wrapped in no time. It was a great start for Enzoani to kick off the new 2016 bridal collections with a photogenic bang!
