Kang Chun Lin UK Road trip

Mark our UK sales director and Kang Chun Lin traveled across the country visiting some of our top UK Stores.

We were very lucky to have Kang Chun Lin (a.k.a. KC) Enzoani’s head designer visited the UK recently. Here is what some of the stores had to say about the visit:

KC's visit to The Harrogate Wedding Lounge was wonderful! It was such an honour to welcome him and to show him our boutique. It’s not every day a designer travels across the world to speak to the people on the shop floor to see what is working, what’s not, what direction things are going, so to have KC actually visit the shop was very special.

We chatted about the collections and which dresses are working well for us. We listened to some of KC's ideas for the new collectio,n and he asked us what we were missing. KC also wanted to know our wish list! If we could have anything in our store that we don't already have what would it be? I can’t wait to see if anything we mentioned features in the new collection!

We even bought KC some famous Betty's shortbread (which it turns out is his favourite) we must be psychic!

Our sincere thanks to KC for taking the time to come and see us, it was a pleasure to spend time and chat with you, and Mark and Jeanette in the UK office, for making us a stop on his whistle stop tour of the UK. It was a very special day.

KC’s visit was extremely important from all angles. Our staff were so encouraged and energised after his visit. They love his designs so for them to meet him and hear him speak about how he creates his gowns was inspirational for them. For myself and Michael, it was an absolute honour to play host to such a talent for a couple of hours and have the opportunity to chat and get feedback from customer comments.

We all came away with a deeper understanding of how each part of the design/manufacturing jigsaw fits together. We gained an insight into the mind of a genius! Also we all felt like KC had actually listened to our comments and was interested in making sure that his dresses were pressing all the right buttons with our brides.

We loved the fact that KC was interested in us and what we did and how we sold. He asked about what dresses sold well for us. He was an absolute pleasure to have around - and when we discovered that he likes cup cakes as well, we felt an instant bond…… the girls wanted to kidnap him; they loved their time with him in our store.
