How did Uptown first get started in 2007?

We are identical twins who just happened to be in [our brides'] very own shoes in 2005, both engaged and both searching for our very own dream dresses. During the blissful planning for two uniquely different weddings, our entire family discovered something magical about a girl in a gorgeous gown. Along with our mother, we had an idea, and the idea became a dream, and the dream became Uptown Bridal & Boutique. Uptown Bridal & Boutique is the creation of our family's true desire to make your wedding day as memorable.

Where are you located?

Uptown Bridal & Boutique is located in Downtown Chandler, Arizona. The trendy and chic Historic Downtown Chandler location will offer each bride a classy setting to find the dress she has always dreamed of wearing on her day to shine. What sets Uptown Bridal apart from other bridal retailers?

When shopping for our own wedding gowns, we found ourselves wishing for a gown-shopping experience that just didn't exist. Uptown Bridal was our answer to the typical bridal boutique. Everything we do is just a bit bolder, a little bit brighter and a little bit more beautiful. Our boutique's trademark is several collections of gowns that are not available at any other boutique in the Valley. Well-known designers have chosen our boutique exclusively to showcase their designs.

Uptown Bridal also adds a personal and special touch to every gown purchase. Our brides receive a special gift along with photos capturing 'the day' that they found the one. In addition, our ladies receive an extra special token of our love and luck a few weeks before the 'I do's'!    

We pride ourselves on a true bridal shopping experience. Aiming for an exceptional overall visit, but focusing on the small details brides appreciate, we offer a balance of luxury and comfort, friendship and expertise. What would you recommend a bride to do before/while shopping for her perfect gown?

Enjoy the process. Research your local bridal boutiques before making appointments. Make your day more about quality than quantity. Share the day with the ones you love the most...and save the surprise of the gown for everyone else!

What was a particularly memorable or special moment that occurred with you and a bride?

We fell in love with Kelsey and Kelsey fell in love with Uptown Bridal. On her wedding day, she asked if she could revisit Uptown to slide into her gown and spend a special moment with the bridal consultant, Ali, that assisted her in finding her dream Enzoani gown. This blog post shares the story perfectly!

What is your favorite Enzoani gown, and why?

Each and every season, we fall in love over and over again. Enzoani Designer Kang Chun Lin remains ahead of the trend, presenting elements and details that stand out from anything else in the bridal industry. At the same time, he is able to create silhouettes and styles that are truly timeless. Diana and Dakota are examples of gowns that Uptown Brides have fallen in love with year after year.

Has your business been in the news or won any awards?

Fans and supporters of Uptown Bridal have continued to show their love for Uptown by declaring us the 'Best Of...' in several reader polls, and the Top Picks on several internet review sites for several consecutive years. Uptown Bridal has had the pleasure of working with well known charities and organizations, including wedding planners David Tutera and Preston Bailey, Major League Baseball, Make A Wish Foundation, Cinderella Affair, The Princess Program, ICAN, Valley of the Sun YMCA, Chandler Service Club and many, many more.

Anything else you'd like to add about your store, your relationship with Enzoani, or in general?

We are proud to have been able to grow alongside Enzoani. When we opened our boutique on February 3, 2007, we offered Enzoani's very first season. Since then, we have welcomed both Blue and Beautiful into the boutique. We anxiously await the debut of every season and adore our relationship with every Enzoani team member.
